"Dream Big" Temporary Public Art

WHAT'S NEW 

Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2:00 - 2:15 p.m. | Yoga Instruction - The Arts Commission invites the public to participate in a free quick yoga workshop at the front lawn of City Hall. In celebration of the public art nine-foot tall dog sculpture, yoga instructor Jheri St. James will demonstrate “downward dog” and other beginning yoga postures.  Jheri has taught yoga through Laguna Beach Parks and Recreation Department for forty years. She offers simple introductory postures for beginners and people who prefer slow, conscious yoga. Breathing, stretching, balancing and inverted postures are followed by total relaxation.

Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. | Dog Training - Residents are invited to bring their friendly dogs (on a leash) to the front lawn of City Hall to work with dog trainer Penny Milne on getting your dog to pose for the world’s cutest selfie! Penny is a dog trainer and behavior consultant and author of the book, “Puppies! Why Do They Do What They Do?” She is also the proprietor of the dog training business whatagoodpuppy. Join us for the fun!

The Arts Commission invites the public to view the temporary sculpture installation "Dream Big" by Elizabeth Laul Healey at Laguna Beach City Hall, 505 Forest Avenue. The sculpture will be installed on the front lawn at City Hall, March - May 2024.

The City invites dog-lovers to share photos of their pups with the installation using the hashtag #DreamBigLaguna
