Laguna Beach takes great pride in facilitating a healthy local economy. We have a two-year Economic Development Action Plan that was developed by the City Council Economic Development/Business Assistance Subcommittee in collaboration with the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visit Laguna Beach, which was adopted on June 14, 2016.

There are three goals to the City's Action Plan that include:

1. Business Retention, Expansion, and Attraction
2. Enhance the customer experience for residents in a way that visitors also enjoy
3. Support the implementation of the Cultural Arts Plan
