Non-Summer Season Routes (Sept. 6, 2022 - June 22, 2023)

Coastal Route 

Free trolley service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/ Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. 

Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Frequency: Every 20-30 minutes.

Canyon Route

Park for free at Lot 16/Act V (1900 Laguna Canyon Road) and ride a free trolley to downtown Laguna Beach every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.* 

Frequency: Every 30 minutes.  

Note: Lot 16 is closed to the public Monday-Friday starting Sept. 6, 2022, with the exception of Friday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Dec. 16. 

*Trolley service from Lot 16 operates until 8 p.m. during the Sawdust Winter Fantasy event in November and December and provides direct service to the Sawdust Festival grounds.

Laguna Beach Winter Express (Nov. 19, 2022 - Dec 18, 2022)

Take the Winter Express trolley this holiday season to Laguna Beach! Start your trip at a free peripheral parking lot at UMass Global (formerly Brandman University) in Irvine (16355 Laguna Canyon Road) and ride a festive trolley to the Sawdust Winter Fantasy and downtown. Click Here for Schedule 

Saturdays/Sundays: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Also operates Friday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Dec. 16.

Frequency: Every 30 minutes, with departures from Irvine and downtown Laguna Beach at :00 and :30 each hour.

 

Laguna Local Neighborhood On-Demand Transit

The City has introduced a new on-demand, shared-ride transit service called Laguna Beach Local between the Top of the World, Bluebird Canyon and Arch Beach Heights neighborhoods and Downtown.

Quick Start Guide

  • To get started, download the TransLoc app and search for "Laguna Beach Local"
  • Rides can also be booked by calling Transit dispatch at (949) 497-0766 during operating hours or by visiting http://ondemand.transloc.com/ on your home computer

Service Hours

Effective Sept. 6, service hours will be:

Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 6p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday: No service

**No service will be provided on Thanksgiving Day (11/24), Christmas Day (12/25) or New Year's Day (1/1)

Canyon Route (Currently Not Running)

Service on Laguna Canyon Road from LCAD and Act V peripheral parking lots to summer art festivals and downtown. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week. Frequency: Every 20 minutes.

Coastal Route (Currently Not Running)

Service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/ Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point.  9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week.  Frequency: Every 20-40 minutes.

Summer Breeze (Currently Not Running)

Service on Laguna Canyon Road from free peripheral parking lot at UMass Global (formerly Brandman University) in Irvine (16355 Laguna Canyon Road) to art festivals and downtown. Fridays: 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturday/Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.  Frequency: Every 30 minutes.
