West Street Beach is a large sandy cove south of Aliso Beach. There are volleyball courts at the north end of the beach, below one of the public accessways. Also at the north end is Aliso Point where you’ll find some unique rock formations. This northern area is commonly referred to as Camel Point Beach. Parking spots are available along the highway near the West Street intersection.

Strong shore-break is common at West Street Beach and the rocks on either end of the beach may become hazardous with large surf or high tide. Skimboarding is a popular activity in the smaller cove to the south of the beach.

If you do visit this area please do not take, collect or disturb any of the marine life. The taking or collecting of rocks, shells, or marine life is prohibited. Fishing is not allowed at this beach.
