Storm Updates - February 6, 2024

10:30 AM on February 6, 2024:  The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of Orange County. Please note that any phone alerts received were not sent by Laguna Beach. Our team is closely monitoring the storm, and at this time, all roads remain open.
 
9:30 AM on February 5, 2024: Laguna Canyon Road remains open at this time. Please minimize unnecessary travel and exercise caution when encountering standing water on the road.
 
The City of Laguna Beach is expected to be impacted by a strong storm through Thursday which will bring intermittent periods of heavy rain and potential flooding.

Pre-filled sandbags are available to residents at the following locations:
- Act V Parking Lot (1900 Laguna Canyon Road) - Aliso Beach East (Inland) Parking Lot

We kindly advise everyone to err on the side of caution and avoid any unnecessary travel during Monday's anticipated rainfall. If you encounter flood water, please do not attempt to drive or walk through it.
