The public is invited to attend a free performance of "The Pirates of Penzance" by Pacific Opera Project at Bluebird Park. Come in Victorian costume, come dressed as a Pirate, come in shorts and t-shirt, but please do not come in Caractacus' uniform. Picnicking is highly encouraged. As a courtesy to neighbors and other park visitors, please do not set up before 3:00 p.m. Dogs are not permitted at Bluebird Park (LBMC 6.16.020). Concert attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or low-seated beach chairs. Alcohol is permitted for attendees ages 21 or older and must be accompanied by a meal. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted in Laguna Beach (LBMC 7.40.030). 

The City of Laguna Beach is committed to sustainability and protecting our surrounding natural environments while presenting programming for the community. When attending City events, we encourage everyone to reduce their carbon footprint and avoid potential traffic and parking issues by utilizing the free City trolley. Additionally, the City has implemented a ban on single-use plastics, and we kindly request that all attendees avoid using disposable plastic items and instead opt for reusable bags, water bottles, and utensils whenever possible.
