Laguna Beach, CA — In direct response to community demands for enhanced traffic safety, the Laguna Beach Police Department's motor unit is operating at full strength for the first time in over a decade. With four motorcycle officers ready for the bustling summer season, this significant milestone marks a renewed commitment to addressing resident concerns.

The Police Department's proactive strategy focuses on education and enforcement to create safer roadways and reduce traffic-related collisions. Motor officers play a crucial role in these efforts, responsible for over 60% of citations issued and 80% of traffic investigations.
