Your Neighborhood Ride!

The City offers a free, on-demand, shared-ride transit service called Laguna Local between the City's residential neighborhoods and major activity centers within the City.  

On-Demand Service Hours (Effective September 5, 2023):

Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday:  9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• To get started, download the TransLoc app and search for "Laguna Beach Local"
• Rides can also be booked by calling Transit Dispatch during operating hours or by visiting http://ondemand.transloc.com/ on your home computer

Service Details

• Pick-up and drop-off at more than 100 locations
• Free to ride
• Average wait time of 15-30 minutes following ride request
• Rides can be requested up to fourteen (14) days in advance
• Children under age 13 must be accompanied by adult
• Parents must bring child seats for those that require them
• Wheelchair accessible vehicle will be available at all times
• On-demand app also displays trolley status information
• Face coverings recommended, but not required, while riding

Effective Tuesday January 10, 2023, the Laguna Local must temporarily suspend the ability for passengers to transport bicycles. We will make an announcement as soon as all issues have been resolved.
