Bring unused or expired medications to the MedReturn Drug Collection box located in front of the Laguna Beach Police Department at 505 Forest Avenue. The box is located west of the front door and is available 24/7. Please, no syringes or hazardous waste. For questions, please contact the Laguna Beach Police Department at (949) 497-0701.

Please, safely dispose of needles, syringes, lancets, and other sharps. Residents can get a sharps disposal-by-mail kit at:

First kit is free. Two additional kits require a $5 co-pay. When the kit is full, simply return it in the pre-paid postage return box. Proof of Laguna Beach residency is required. Orange County residents can dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste items for FREE at any of the County's four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers. Proof of County residence may be requested.

These centers can accept the following flammable products:

• CO2 cartridges (lecture bottle or smaller)
• Diesel fuel
• Fire Extinguishers under 40 lbs.
• Gas/oil mix
• Helium tanks
• Home heating oil
• Kerosene
• Lighter fluid
• Propane tanks (5-gallon or smaller)
