Bring unused or expired medications to the MedReturn Drug Collection box located in front of the Laguna Beach Police Department at 505 Forest Avenue. The box is located west of the front door and is available 24/7. Please, no syringes or hazardous waste. For questions, please contact the Laguna Beach Police Department at (949) 497-0701.

Sharps disposal mail-back containers are available upon request at no charge. The mail-back container allows residents to safely and properly dispose of sharps waste including needles, injector pens, and syringes. Sharps disposal containers can also be picked up from your residence by scheduling a pickup. To request sharps mail-back container, please call Laguna Beach’s dedicated CR&R customer service at (949)-662-3819.

Orange County residents can dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste items for FREE at any of the County's four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers. Proof of County residence may be requested.

These centers can accept the following flammable products:

• CO2 cartridges (lecture bottle or smaller)
• Diesel fuel
• Fire Extinguishers under 40 lbs.
• Gas/oil mix
• Helium tanks
• Home heating oil
• Kerosene
• Lighter fluid
• Propane tanks (5-gallon or smaller)
