Caltrans Night Work on South Coast Highway

Next week, Caltrans plans to work extended shifts of up to twenty hours to conduct pavement repairs in the roadway along South Coast Highway at the following locations:

Project Description

CalTrans is upgrading pedestrian facilities, including reconstructing existing curb ramps and driveways, widening existing sidewalks, and adding audible pedestrian crossing systems, to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards along Coast Highway between Ledroit Street and Ruby Street. The construction phase began in September 2021 and is expected to continue through 2024.
